Announcing CodePair V2: AI-native, blazing fast and fully collaborative

Our mission at CodeSubmit is to enable our customers to identify the best candidates for their team by empowering every candidate to shine.

This mission drives us to build software that is deeply rooted in both interviewer and candidate experience. Every feature we add must contribute to deeper candidate insight, without compromising a candidate’s ability to perform at their highest level.

Keeping our mission in mind, we’re excited to bring you the latest version of CodeSubmit’s CodePair: V2.

V2 was built in response to extensive customer and candidate feedback and in reaction to the emergence of generative AI.

It has become mission-critical to assess technical candidates’ proficiency in AI tooling, but access to AI Agents, LLMs and AI tooling is not always equitable.

With V2, we’re empowering all candidates to demonstrate their AI knowledge with a fully collaborative coding environment and integrated AI assistant. Hiring teams can now glean insights into their candidates' prompting skills, problem-solving abilities, and how they approach integrating AI into their workflows, all while conducting the traditional live-coding interview that many of our customers have come to rely on.

GenAI tooling can be expensive. One candidate may be able to afford $200/month for an LLM-enabled code editor, while another may not. Companies who use CodeSubmit know that their candidates are interviewing on a level playing field. Every CodeSubmit candidate has access to the same bleeding-edge LLMs and AI tools during their interview, allowing interviewers to assess them based on their performance, not their access to tooling.
